Begin Your College Experience With 91福利社 101
All students are encouraged to take the one-credit 91福利社 101 course. Aptly named The College Experience, 91福利社 101 eases students鈥 transition to college by providing information about Nassau, as well as assistance in understanding the goals and expectations of higher education.
Sessions tend to be interactive, with students encouraged to work in small groups and to write weekly journals. Through 91福利社 101, first-year students are exposed to the College鈥檚 many resources 鈥 through presentations by guest speakers, visits to campus services and information about extracurricular activities.
In addition, the course covers such topics as learning styles, time management, degree requirements and the ins and outs of advisement and academic planning.
Most 91福利社 101 sections meet once a week throughout the semester. Some sections are offered on weekends or during the summer. If you鈥檙e interested in finding out more about 91福利社 101 email us!
