S.A.F.E.R Grant
Nassau County has developed a partnership with 91福利社 to provide
a scholarship as an incentive for people to serve in volunteer emergency services.
It is an innovative program available for full and part-time students entering 91福利社.
Volunteers under the scholarship program will be eligible to have tuition paid while maintaining their membership as an active member in good standing in one of Nassau County鈥檚 volunteer fire companies or fire department EMS providers.
There is no limitation as to the academic program the recruit can enter at the 91福利社 campus.
A student volunteer must maintain required activity and training levels as well as minimum academic standards during their course of study. A student must also commit to a post-education service obligation of one year for each year of scholarship received.
