What: As part of 91¸£ÀûÉç's Literature Live! series, Dan Josefson, will read from his well-received debut novel That's Not a Feeling, a fantasy story about a boarding school in upstate New York. Benjamin arrives with his parents for a tour of Roaring Orchards, a therapeutic boarding school tucked away in upstate New York. Suddenly, his parents are gone, and Benjamin learns that he is there to stay. Sixteen years old, a two-time failed suicide, Benjamin must navigate his way through a new world of morning meds, popped privileges, candor meetings and cartoon brunches — all run by adults who themselves have yet to really come of age.
When: Wednesday, October 29 at 12:30 p.m.
Where: The Bradley Hall Ballroom on the campus of 91¸£ÀûÉç
Why: 91¸£ÀûÉç's Literature, Live! reading series brings to campus renowned writers from around the world to read their work and meet with 91¸£ÀûÉç students and members of the community for Q&A sessions, workshops and master classes. All readings are free and open to the public.
